À propos du livre
This project was born during a journey that carried me across New York, Rome, Barcelona and Madrid over the course of one sun-drenched month in May.
With a sense of quiet urgency, I set out to capture people, strangers, moments and expressions through the lens of a single idea:
we all branch out to be the same over time.
From city to city, I observed the subtle symmetry between difference and unity, between the roots that define us and the gestures that connect us.
Each photo is a leaf on a larger tree, a fragment of a collective identity unfolding in public spaces, in silence, in motion.
As the journey neared its end, the thread of this exploration drew me back to an ancient ritual: the tauromachia.
In Madrid, I found in the arena a stark and symbolic culmination.
Man confronting nature, self confronting shadow. Here, the dialogue between humanity and instinct, vulnerability and spectacle, reached its peak.
This book is a visual essay, a meditation without words, on our shared branches and the eternal return to the origins we both resist and embody.
