Erick Huertas is a Whidbey Island-based motorsport photographer and writer specializing in Rally. His journey into photography began during the 2021 Trans-America Trail, where his iPhone photos were featured in Land Rover Owner International. This milestone led him to pursue a Professional Photography Certification at the University of Washington. Erick discovered motorsports through the Northwest Rally Association’s Rallycross series, igniting a passion that has driven his career. Known for his minimalistic editing style, Erick captures the vividness and motion of events as they unfold. In just two years, he has covered the American Rally Association, Canadian Rally Championship, Formula E, Pacific Coast Rover Club, and numerous grassroots events. His work has been featured in Land Rover Owner International, Land Rover Monthly, Route, Roadtrippers Magazine, Lethal Minds Journal, American Rally Association, and Cigar Public, where he is a staff contributor.
