À propos du livre
Passage - a passage or transition between spaces, substances, planes or even walls.
Some literature also describes a passage and visible parallelism that we would not normally bring together. Be it that in our realm of the living, long-dead people appear as a matter of course, or that mysterious worlds suddenly become visible. And not in the context of science fiction or the inflationary proliferation of multiverses on the quantum level, but in the real here and now.
For me, this has become particularly apparent in the books of Haruki Murakami. In his books, a parallel world in which his protagonists suddenly disappear and then reappear at some point is always an important part of the search for answers in which these characters find themselves. This search for answers in life can have very different triggers. Haruki Murakama's literary images invite us to become open to the unexpected and sometimes inexplicable that can appear in our lives.
The pictures in this book were created more by chance when I took a "puddle picture" and immediately remembered the passages from a book by Haruki Murakami. I then deliberately took more pictures that point in the same direction, and these pictures are an invitation to consciously imagine how we look from our world into an "other" parallel world, with all its secrets, or even answers to questions that move us.
