Aya and I have worked together for 15 years, from 2008 to 2023, and we completed 33 shoots, creating some incredible images and some wonderful memories. The work we did overseas in the Canaries (Lanzarote and Fuerteventura twice), Ibiza and the Seychelles has already been published in four of my previous books, and the first book simply “Aya” contains a selection of my favourite images from the first 4 studio shoots. However, there is much of our work still to be documented. As Aya has now decided to retire from modeling it seems a fitting time to address this and complete the series of books about my favourite model and long time friend. This book, “Aya in the Studio”, is a collection of my favourite images from all the studio shoots we did over those 15 years. It is an end of an era; sad to see it come to a final conclusion, as all things must, but glad we did it.
