BFA in fine art photography from University of New Mexico 1977. Studied graduate level photo history with the esteemed photo historian Beaumont Newhall. Primarily photographed black & white urban landscapes. Gave up photography for many, many years. Worked in documentary films as cameraman and editor. Photography somewhat reinvigorated during my worldwide travels in the 1990s, but short-lived. May produce book of my photographs from Tibet and of Tibetan culture-in-exile in India and Nepal. These Small Things In Landscape photographs are a recent, fun interest of mine. As long as it remains fun, and that is key, I will continue to photograph the small things in landscapes I encounter. Recently I have produced five more landscape photography books. All the photographs in every one of these books were made with an iPhone camera. More books hopefully on the way.
