Blending memoir and journalism, this project began as a documentation of a MotherBlessing/ Blessingway evening but evolved into a profound exploration, incorporating letters from women, connecting with midwives across generations, and delving into the Blessingway ceremony's lineage. The 152 pages include the ceremony, the author's context and reflections, wisdom letters, stories of pregnancy and birth, and a poignant letter from a midwife weaving personal and historical narratives. A unique hybrid project, it offers a glimpse into the tapestry of womanhood, birth, and generational transformation.
