Edgy, moody, somber or surreal are adjectives that could describe the night time carnival images I’m submitting to Eyeshot. What better way to spend a warm summer night than attending a carnival. Rides, activities, games and food can provide fun and enjoyment. But after the fun subsides and few remain, solitude and loneliness permeate the carnival atmosphere. And for the carnies having to attend to the stragglers and the holdouts for that last piece of pizza or plate of funnel cakes, carnival nights can seem endless.
