À propos du livre
And these forms, I mean these ceramics, we might call them sculptures, were when all is said and done created to say just this, to allude to the cosmic breath, to opening and closing, to the repetitive rhythm of nights and days, of darkness and light, of the seasons, of the weeks, of hopes and disappointments, in order to remind us of the eager and liberating rhythm of love and the vital energy that seems to run out every night but that, regenerated by dream, is able to repeat itself in the endless present.

À propos du créateur
Trained in the cultural milieu of Radical Architecture in Florence, Beppe Caturegli (1957) moved to Milan in 1982, beginning a collaboration with Ettore Sottsass, the Memphis group, and Terrazzo publication. In 1987, with Giovannella Formica (1957-2019), he founded Caturegli Formica Architetti Associati. His travel-inspired anthropological approach to design bridges industry/craft, global/local, and mass-produced/one-off dichotomies. This vision has resulted in a diverse portfolio, spanning architecture, unique carpets, interior design, paintings, industrial design and sculptures. His works are showcased globally at places like the Design Gallery, Nilufar Gallery, Assab One, Antonia Jannone Gallery, 44SPAZIO, 4IMBRIANI in Milano, FABBRICA nel BOSCO Monferrato, Citronne Gallery Athens, Artworx Athens, Céramiques Almadies Dakar and museums, like Deichtorhallen Hamburg, Centre Pompidou Paris, Mino Art Museum Japan, Metropolitan Museum of Art New York and and Triennale di Milano Italy.
