À propos du créateur
Gail Crane began writing in her twenties, producing articles, stories for magazines and children's comics, and verses for greetings cards, until the demands of raising a family and running a business meant writing took a back seat. It wasn't until she retired to live on Exmoor that she began writing seriously again. Her two romance novels are inspired by the moors and coast of Exmoor. Her short stories have been published in magazines and as collections in books. Her fascination with the history and legends of Exmoor inspired her first non-fiction work, The Murder of Anna Maria, the true story of notorious Exmoor murderer, William Burgess. This was followed by “Stained Glass in Exmoor Churches”, an illustrated exploration of the stories behind the images in the windows. In 2014 she completed a BA (Hons) degree with Open University studying creative writing, and is a member of the Alliance of Independent Authors.
