À propos du livre
How can perspective in environment design be utilised to enhance the strength of the environment and the visual depth of the setting to allow for more effective communication of emotions in 2D animation?
This Preproduction Art Book covers the preproduction process for the ongoing 2D-augmented reality (AR) experience project by Hazel Mejia, currently undertaking her Master of Animation, Games, and Interactivity at RMIT University, Melbourne, Australia. The project's intended outcome is an AR experience that allows viewers to glimpse into a dystopian and sci-fi-inspired future through an AR platform easily accessible through a smartphone or tablet. Viewers will be able to get a glimpse into a different world by activating a marker through their camera to trigger an animation as well as trigger simple interactions with objects within the AR space. Hazel explored this experience with 2D animation in an AR platform in one of her course's first units. After various iterations through the preproduction process, the project seeks to follow the journey of a little girl as the main character as she traverses distant dystopian and sci-fi lands and views land through her perspective.
