born in New Orleans, La., graduated with MFA in painting and printmaking from Pratt Institute, Now living in San Antonio, TX, writing a second book on Mexican Papercutting. Trenchard taught art for 10 years at SAC and Palo Alto Colleges, and continues to lecture and demonstrate the art of paper cutting and shadow puppetry, as well as curating exhibits and exhibiting her own work. Her public art work is on display in San Antonio and El Paso, Texas.
