À propos du livre
Situated in the southernmost part of the Great Rift Valley of East Africa, Gorongosa National Park is one of Mozambique’s flagship conservation areas with a remarkable history. From the ashes of the incredible human and wildlife tragedy that occurred during the years of civil war in the 1970’s, has arisen a conservation project of hope and inspiration. In this book of artistic images and words Jean-Paul Vermeulen reveals the beauty and fascination of this region. These images were photographed in wild places that are easily accessible to anybody who wishes to travel there.

À propos du créateur
Belgian, born in South Africa, Jean-Paul Vermeulen grew up in Rwanda where he became rapidly passionate for wildlife and photography. After several years in Europe, he discovered Mozambique in 1993. His interest in wildlife photography makes him spending most of his available time in the African bush and especially in the region of Gorongosa that he visited the first time in 1996. He participated in several photo exhibitions and wrote ‘O Jardim do Indico’, his first publication.
