Hello, and thanks for stopping by. My name is Lisa Marie Stevens, I make images. I capture the world around me as though writing a diary with images rather than words. My work is either straight photography or illustrations of things I see that move me. These illustrations are often layered images made by using double exposure, long exposures, light painting techniques and/or camera movement, with the express intent of illustrating my emotions. I am currently re-exploring film emulsions, experimenting with alternative processes, and branching out into pottery and multi-media sculptures made out of wood found in nature.
