A YA environmental fantasy about a boy genius who feels alienated from humans. With permission from a dolphin community, he elects to live in their pod. Eban is joined by his girlfriend, Emma, who, with her parents, Janet and Ted, acquire an understanding of his philosophies and way of life. Ultimately, Emma and Eban integrate their human and marine lives.
