Bug Davidson is an artist and theater/film director whose experimental works explore media representation, social choreography, and the magic of cinematic gesture. Davidson’s films have screened at the British Film Institute, Anthology Film Archive and multiple international festivals. Bug wrote, directed, and toured the evening-length Trinitron Mixtape with support from Fusebox Festival and the National Performance Network. They recently debuted The Game Show at The Contemporary Austin. Davidson’s current photography project and forthcoming book documents Texas cinemas, celebrating the architecture and history of these unique sites. Davidson studied at the School of the Museum of Fine Arts Boston, Tufts University, The School of Visual Arts, The Irish Film Center Dublin, and Zurich University of the Arts.
