À propos du livre
The photographs in the book were shot in Paris over five days in the gloomy, freezing November of 2016. It was my first visit to the City of Lights.
They were perceived through my own very eyes but also shaped by my exposure to the history of French cinema and photography that I got to know long before setting foot in France: namely, Atget, Brassai, Cartier-Bresson, Depardon, Doisneau, Duvivier, Godard, Kertesz, Lartigue, Malle, Melville, Resnais, Rohmer, Ronis, Tati, Truffaut and Varda.
