In the late 1950’s, my father joined a group of academics and engineers and became part of a team of technical training advisors working with the government of South Vietnam.
Together with my mom, two brothers and later, my newborn sister, we lived in Saigon for the next two and a half years.
My earliest childhood memories are from there.
