The summer of 2020 was a time of Covid-19 shut-in. Bandon, Oregon is a beautiful coastal town, and we have a wonderful greenhouse and gazebo, so we feel fortunate to live where we do in such trying times. Oregon had terrible fires. Bandon had a whale beached on the sand that died. But amidst all the trials and pain of the season, I captured much beauty around. Beauty in flowers. Beauty in labyrinths on the sand. Beauty in friendship and gatherings. And even though I can't see family, I capture photos of loved ones off of Facebook to document their activities long distance.
