There is a Chinese curse "May you live in interesting times." It is clear that we are: March of 2020 Spring. Coronavirus (COVID-19) epidemic that shook the World. We are all anxious about the news, stressed and stretched from dealing with the disruption. Self-isolating, lot of hand-washing, and quarantine.
At the present time, working from home can be a major adjustment for people suddenly plunged into it. There are several strategies on how to deal with stress and anxiety while working from home during disruptions that accompany the epidemic season:
1. Start with yourself
2. Take it easy with your anxieties — or those of the people around you
3. Stay connected
4. Practice a radical acceptance
5. Focus on the facts
6. Avoid information overload
7. Have fun
8. Be grateful for what you have
9. Take control of the things you can control
The most important thing right now is to deal with the situation in some creative way, to create something beautiful from within! When you're facing a crisis, creativity, humor, and staying connected are a lifesaver!
