Suzanne Benton is a feminist activist artist who has shared her many-faceted art for over 60 years and in 32 countries as a metal mask maker and mask performance artist, printmaker, painter, lecturer, and workshop leader. From Paintings in Proust consists of a selection of monoprints with chine colle that resulted from extensive research and travel to Paris, Gverny, Rome and Assisi to see the actual works and sources of inspiration for the artowrks she then created. The artworks have been features in solo and group shows.
