Wimbledon-born, Steffie Shields MBE, BA Hons, Liverpool Hope University, is a professional garden photographer, writer, and historic landscape consultant based in Lincolnshire. Photographic awards include commendations in the annual International Garden Photographer of the Year competition. Her illustrated book ‘Moving Heaven and Earth: Capability Brown's Gift of Landscape’ (Unicorn Press) was a Garden Media Guild Awards finalist for 2016 ‘Inspirational Book of the Year’. A Vice-President of the Gardens Trust, and present chair, Lincolnshire Gardens Trust, Steffie was awarded the M.B.E (2018) for services to conservation and heritage.
