Kyle Jorve was born in 1988 in Phoenix, Arizona to a family whose history could scarcely be called artistic. In childhood, his creative compulsions gradually evolved from mere scribblings into plot and character creation. That early inclination towards storytelling and visual communication has remained constant throughout his creative career.
While attending Mesa Community College, figure drawing became his central focus, and strengthened his character design abilities. Though educated formally in traditional media, digital painting remains his medium of choice, as its potential has never ceased to enrapture him. Presently he is enrolled as an Illustration major at the University of Arizona, from which he will graduate with a BFA in 2013.
Between attending school and various anime conventions throughout Arizona, he is currently writing and conceptualizing several graphic novel ideas, the most developed of which is titled Post-Autumn, whose progress can be viewed on his website.
