I live and work in Chicago. I have been active in photography since 1974 and have worked as both a professional photographer and a darkroom technician.

I most admire the classical black and white photographers Edward Weston and Minor White. My working mantras are Mies van der Rohe’s “Less is more” and Minor White’s “For technical data - the camera was faithfully used.”

I work in both film and digital and look for details in places that might be overlooked.
