Sam Dexter is a part-time ecologist, part-time rock climber, and full-time beer drinker hailing from the shores of Maine and now calling Missoula, Montana home. What he lacks in writing ability he makes up for with a (semi)charming capacity to argue with anyone about anything.

His writing ranges from acclaimed academic research in the ecological sciences, to the arts and poetry.
