À propos
During my stint in the Peace Corps during the 70's, I became an avid amateur travel photographer developing and printing my own work. When i went back to grad school and began raising a family, I gradually lost interest in shooting film as I pursued first an academic career in Film Studies and then worked in the entertainment industry in Hollywood. Having gotten advanced degrees in film, I made Japanese movies my specialty and American film genres.
I worked as a screenwriter for a number of years, and when the writing became a chore rather than an obsession, and the market for seriously themed movies seemed almost nonexistent, I found a renewed creative outlet in digital photography.
Now I enjoy art photography especially urban landscapes some with people some without; outdoor landscapes with unusual histories; lost objects; signs; and color found in unexpected natural places.
