Mike Tedder is a graduate of Anglia Ruskin University in Cambridge with a passion for mixed-media collage, photography and design, working from a studio based in Dover UK.

His work is inspired by many stimuli such as a dream, an emotion, language, something suddenly remembered, a song, or the experience of a particular moment. Exploring a juxtaposition of reality, fantasy, aesthetics and sensation, he examines some of the transient moments of real life experienced within both shared and autobiographical contexts.

Paper and mixed-media collage is a primary medium within his recent work. Emotion through language, letters, signs, words, turns of phrase, and literal translation are all intrinsic elements of personal expressionism within his artwork.
