Putting this book together was a labor of love for me – a gift to the dear friends I gained when I joined the Storykeeping Workshop in 2019. When I listened to everyone’s stories during the class, I wanted to remember them, and not lose them over time. As a designer, I decided the best way to do that was to create this book, and in doing so I became even more involved in helping to keep these stories alive. It has been a joy to work with each of my classmates, whose parents’ stories now live on these pages.

All of us in this group would like to thank Gloria Lazar for writing the Foreword and Afterword, which so beautifully expresses our emotions about this very special group experience, and what it has meant to us.
