Vijay Rajan and Elisabeth Evans began working together in 2011. During this year, he read her short story "Rain of Fire." Inspired by the historical aspects he could add to the tale -- an unusual and atypical gothic horror story that combined both a traditional vampire with the modern idea of a psychic vampire -- he decided to undertake the adaptation.

The result was this screenplay, the first feature-length collaboration between the two writers.

The two, having found an incredible creative connection, hope to continue to work together for quite some time.
