Sara Lafleur-Vetter is a freelance photographer and writer who has photographed on four continents and exhibited work in Russia and America. She grew up in small towns outside of Philadelphia, PA and attended Reed College in Portland, Oregon, graduating with an interdisciplinary degree in Anthropology and Russian in 2005.

Sara attended SVA as an MFA photography candidate before taking a leave of absence to work in St. Petersburg, Russia for two years where she freelanced for the St. Petersburg Times and documented a homeless organization, a kid circus, and an institution for the mentally disabled. She recently returned to the US from a two-year stint as an archaeological photographer in Luxor, Egypt.
