À propos
I was born and raised in Downey, California. I attended and graduated from Brigham Young University in 1982 with a degree in elementary education. I have been married to David Miller since 1981 and I am the mother of three grown children, Brent, Stacey, and Brian. My hobby has always been reading and writing. My favorite book is "Eric", by Doris Lund, who wrote an honest, heartfelt story about her son's illness with leukemia. The honesty is what made me love the book. The Lunds were not a perfect family, which made them easy to bond with through reading about them. In the same manner, I wanted to write an honest book about my career, hoping that at some point and time it might help someone else in the profession.
When not teaching, or reading, or writing, I am off on my bike. I blow off frustration and anger while riding thirty miles a day. This has kept me sane through the events of my career.
