San Francisco artist Jessica Hobbs has exhibited her work nationally and internationally. She is an MFA graduate from the San Francisco Art Institute. Her work has been included in Visions a Bay Area emerging photographers show. Her collaborative project with Felecia Carlisle, Wedding Portraits, was chosen for San Francisco Art Commission’s Art On Market Street Kiosk Poster Series and most recently exhibited by special invitation at the LH Horton Gallery. Jessica started her artistic studies at the University of California at Santa Cruz where she earned her undergraduate degree. She then relocated to San Francisco where she has been working as the director of a non-profit gallery, and creating citywide community youth art programs. Most recently her video work has been shown at the St. Louis Contemporary Art Center as part of a new experimental video program. She also travels around the world with her collaborative art group the Flaming Lotus Girls.
