À propos
Photography has been a personal passion of mine for about as long as I can remember. My first rewarding experience in this was a simple shot: As a 12 year old in Wisconsin, our back yard lay under 3 feet of snow, and I had been tasked to shovel pathways for our family dog to run through. With a Brownie camera, I laid down in the open tunnel, called for him, and snapped him as he turned the corner to me. The simple composition, contrast, and spontaneous reaction sparked something in me and remains with me to this day.
Over the years, I kept at it, and after raising a family and retiring from my other career, I have been able to take my photography to a high level, winning awards and recognition in highly competitive photo contests. Today, I am a highly accomplished photographer whose work is mainly oriented around landscape photography, both traditional and interpretive. I also include images capturing birds and wildlife and abstract geometry of nature and architectural details.
