Debra Cootware is creative. She was a ballet dancer from the age 5 until her sophomore year in high school. She played flute in elementary school and learned guitar in High School. However, her real passion, is painting. In fact, if you visit New England you might spot Debra painting en plein air.

When creativity wanes, she takes a small break to create twisted wire jewelry. A potter's wheel and kiln in her garage allows her to create in clay as well. All of which she sells at the local farmer's market.

Debra lives in Greenfield, Massachusetts with her husband, Greg, her High School sweetheart and husband of 42 years. Their dog, Moxie the Doxie, is featured on the cover and first page of her book.
