Chris Gomez is a visual artist based in Indiana. He is currently pursuing a degree in Film and Video Production and a minor in Theater from Purdue University. Gomez began exploring photography in high school and won the award for most outstanding student in photographic publications. Gomez’s love for photography then grew when he took a Black & White Film Photography class in his first semester at Purdue. This led him to purchase his first 35mm camera and explore street photography. Gomez has been experimenting with different equipment to help elevate the impact of his work. Gomez’s work currently explores the ideas of time, familiarity, and nostalgia.
