Originally from Santa Rosa, California, I've spent a large part of my life moving and traveling from one place to another. In doing so I've had the opportunity to see and experience things that have given me a new appreciation for how rich and diverse life is, and how important it is to spend the time we have trying to do the things we love.

For me, photography is this amazing process by which we capture an instant of time in a rectangular frame and are able to present it as reality. We can capture any instant we choose, framed in any way we see fit, and even so we often find ourselves stunned and amazed by what comes through the lens. A camera is somewhat unique in that it enables an artist to present both concrete reality and manufactured illusion simultaneously.
