Laurie Roberts is a Southern storyteller, Bible teacher, musician, and ordained minister with a heart for the broken and a passion for the redeeming grace of Jesus Christ. She holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Theology and Counseling, with a focus on practical ministry and real-world care, supported by advanced certifications in Biblical Counseling, Grief, Addiction and Trauma Care.

With decades of ministry, motherhood, and personal testimony, Laurie writes and speaks with grit, warmth, and reverence for the ordinary places where God’s glory breaks through. Her voice is grounded, hopeful, and deeply relatable.

Together with her husband, James “Bear” Jones, she co-founded Still Point Biblical Counseling Center in San Angelo, Texas, a refuge for individuals and families navigating trauma, grief, addiction, and life’s most difficult seasons. She serves as Executive Director of Lyndale of San Angelo, in their church, and the Emmaus Community.
