Learn to sign with Trae is a series of children's books inspired by an 8 year old boy called Trae who is autistic and non verbal, through British Sign Language Trae is now able to express himself and communicate not only with his mum and family but with the world around him. The books teach British sign language other families can use to learn, create bonds and break communication barriers. Learn to sign with Trae is available as a hardback copy and a PDF download.

I am a proud mother of three and fluent in British Sign Language (BSL). My BSL journey began with my parents who are deaf and grew even deeper as I've supported my son, Trae, on his own communication journey due to being non verbal. As both a daughter of Deaf parents and a parent carer, I understands how important it is for every child to have a way to express their thoughts, needs, and feelings. I am passionate about creating inclusive children’s books that support families and schools
