I was born and brought up in England, but I've lived more than half my life elsewhere in various places, but mostly in Sweden. I call Gothenburg (Göteborg) on the Swedish west coast my adopted home town. I used to teach English to high school students and adults, to write educational material, and to translate from Swedish to English. Nowadays I'm retired. This means I have the time to pursue my old quest to become a published author. I blog at TheSupercargo.com and vlog on YouTube, and I write poetry, flash fiction, longer stories, novels and podcast scripts.
