Though long-time friends living only a few miles apart in Southern California, John Holland and co-author Larry Carlson arrive at "Shared Reflections" from substantially different directions. John is enjoying a distinguished career in graphic design, photography, and sculpture. In these related efforts he operates his own studio and teaches publicly and privately. Larry has nothing to do with writing professionally but he is continually observing and taking notes that he sometimes translates into poems and other personal compositions such as these.
