I live in California with my husband, Robert. We make our home on an acre and a quarter where we garden and entertain our grandchildren. We have chickens, cats, and two German Shorthaired Pointers. I  have two children, Chris and Kathy, and three grandchildren, Rylan, Aubrey and Sierra.

In 1991, I earned a degree in business and started my own graphic design business after years of working as a draftsperson for the phone company, a number of government contractors and for Hardy and Associates Security. Just before launching my own business, I was an ad layout artist at the Napa Valley Register.

After almost 20 years running my business, with my husband’s help after he retired from the government in 1995, I retired my graphic design business.

I am now pursuing children’s book illustration.
