À propos du livre
The book "Mali - faces and colours" aims to bring the people of Segou region close to us. No doubt their hopes and dreams are not much different from ours, but their every day struggle for survival makes live difficult. It is time to realize that people who are living just 5 hours by plane away from us must not be forgotten. If we want that people in Africa will enjoy a better future we must take action. Not in a way that we tell them what to do but to enable them to develop in a peaceful environment. It is about better education, health services, infrastructure, access to water and sanitation and better governance. All this needs funds and our solidarity.
It is enough to look in the eyes of the children, the adults and the village chiefs to understand that they need us and that they deserve a better future.
