À propos du livre
A collection of cryptic photographic creations celebrating Cockney rhyming slang. The aim of the book is to 'ave an Albert' (Albert Hall: ball) and to keep alive a colourful London tradition, which is in danger of disappearing. Just as the main motivation of Cockney rhyming slang is to 'ave a giraffe with dicky-birds', (a laugh with words), the photographs are pictorial plays on words, reflecting the humour and ingenuity of this slang. So go on and buy one, it ain't a lot of 'sausage and mash'. And tell all yer 'Chinas' about it down the old 'rub-a-dub'.
