À propos du livre
Colour surrounds us everyday, but rarely do we think about the importance it plays in our life. This exploration pushed the children to explore the ways that colours can affect moods and feelings and how they could express these very feelings with the language of colour.
The children were asked to recall a time and a place when they had experienced a strong emotion and to really think about what they could hear, think, see and touch at that moment. Once the children were able to talk about this time with great detail we asked the children to go deeper still and try and think about the physiological feelings and sensations. They started to talk about hearts racing and stomach pains. At this moment the children were given a piece of paper and asked to recreate these strong emotions using colours—not pictures.
This is a collection of their expression of feelings in full colour.
