À propos du livre
Excerpt from the Introduction to RING YOUR NECK:
“Why a neckbrace?”
They all ask the first time – usually as they’re fastening the Velcro in the back. It’s a fair question. What prompted this weird guy to come up with the idea of equipping family, friends, loved ones and strangers with a cervical collar for the sake of his “art?”
Seven years, six neckbraces, thousands of photographs and daily emails later, here we are. I’ve unfastened the Velcro so to speak and taken a self-imposed hiatus from this ongoing project.
Still, I’m very proud, not only of the photographs, but of the connections I’ve made because of them. Take a look. It’s time to face the brace.
