À propos du créateur
Born in Athens in 1961, extremely lucky to spend my childhood and youth under the Acropolis and breathe the perfume of the the old Athenian neighborhoods. I traveled to (still doing so...) and adored all the magical Greek places, the unique Greek nature, the infinite Aegean blue covered by the immortal Greek sunlight. I adored the people too, having unbreakable bonds with the place, at the time of manual labor, at the time of happiness or sorrow, having fun or being in a narrow squeak... This is what and where I have been trying to focus on through my lens for some decades now, sometimes depicting the impiteous wrinkles of time, sometimes depicting the new emerging from the old... I compare photography to fishing (against my ecological conscience), always carrying the hypothetically right equipment, selecting the hypothetically correct area, looking forward to the desirable result... In fact, I am mostly interested in the course, in the journey, again and again...
