À propos du livre
As we travelled across Southern Sicily and shot in the towns of Ispica, Enna, Barrafranca and Scicli, I relished the passion Sicilians exhibited when celebrating their faith.
From the restrained stateliness of Enna’s formal processions to the controlled chaos seen in Barrafranca and Scicli, Easter in Sicily is a wondrous experience.

À propos du créateur
I grew up in Malaysia, went to high school in Singapore and then on to university in New Zealand where I studied Economics and Business Administration. In the last few years I've rediscovered photography and through a combination of self-education and participating in formal workshops have progressed from vacation snaps to taking a more thoughtful approach. My main interest is in discovering and documenting the world, experiencing the magic and wonder of different cultures and lands - from the exoticism and contradictions of Cuba, to the passion of Sicilian Easter rituals, as well as rediscovering, through my lens, my homeland Malaysia.. I am a member of LUMEN, an independent photographer's cooperative. I am a former editor of Swiss Peeks, a series of Swiss photography books and former co-moderator of DigifotoCH, an online community for English-speaking photographers based in Switzerland. nick@nickyoon.com
