À propos du livre
"It's called the American dream because you have to be asleep to believe it." George Carlin
America has influenced the entire World. In the deep South West of the UK, even the iddillic Cornish countryside has not escaped this, and the rolling hills and sweeping moorlands are now punctuated with American icons and memorabilia. The two worlds seem to have collided; the crashing waves, craggy cliffs, beautiful sandy beaches and the wild moors of Cornwall meet the highly saturated colours, greasy food, bright lights and brashness of America. This project shows the invasion of the American culture onto the Cornish landscape and the obsession people have with the American lifestyle.
