À propos du livre
This is the collaborative art of Kevin Stiles and Nina Pak representing a two year period. Both are painters who became photographers. Kevin took the photos and Nina made her own style of art with them.
The book is titled Kismet as it was fate or karma that brought the two artists together on-line at a photography website, where they agreed to work on this project, and again their good fortune which sent each of their muses to shoot with Kevin. This body of work is an experiment in more ways than one. It was a leap of trust, and it resulted in a solid friendship between two artist who have never met in person. It is based on a love for the the human form, especially the feminine, for elements of the unusual, the mysterious, the surreal, it was a chance to try new things, to explore, to turn dreams into something tangible.
I ordered a soft cover version of this book myself when I made some corrections in the layout, I was not happy with how it looked, It is a smaller book than the hardcover, so it is cut differently, the layout was off, therefore I removed the soft cover option.
