Caryn, originally from NYC, has lived in the Pacific Northwest for so many years she now considers it her native territory. She is an artist and an instructor of art, an avid gardener and boater. Her primary medium is paint (oil), with occasional forays into Intaglio printmaking and book making. Much of her work involves water themes. Lately she has become a certified marine naturalist, and loves to go hang out on the water and with the whales in the Salish Sea.
