À propos du livre
While I have returned home, my mission continues as I impart a better understanding of Belize to the people I meet. I enjoy sharing my photographs, knowledge, and even cooking up a nice pot of rice and beans every once in a while.

À propos du créateur
I grew up on a farm in southwestern Minnesota. After earning a degree in Fisheries, Wildlife, and Conservation Biology from the University of Minnesota, I joined Peace Corps Belize as an Environment Volunteer. In a rapidly developing nation, where wetlands are filled for housing and rainforest is cleared for agricultural use, it seems that the scale is tipped in favor of the people, while the environment is held under tremendous pressure. While working with the Belize Audubon Society, I experienced first-hand how critical stakeholder involvement is to conservation planning. My experience in the Peace Corps has motivated me to continue working in public outreach, which has multiple positive benefits for both people and the environment. While I have returned home, my mission continues as I impart a better understanding of Belize to the people I meet. I enjoy sharing my photographs, knowledge, and even cooking up a nice pot of rice and beans every once in a while.
